Professional Experience
- Mr. A V P Reddy is a Senior Partner at Juris Prime Law Services and joined the firm in May, 2020 after retirement from the State Bank of India (SBI). He practices in the areas of Banking, Recovery, Labor and Service laws, Corporate Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws (IBC), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) matters, Securitization laws, Contracts, Constitutional law, Real Estate matters and other similar areas.
- Before joining the practice, he worked in the erstwhile State Bank of Indore, the erstwhile State Bank of Hyderabad and the State Bank of India for 29 years. He was the head of the Department of Law in the erstwhile State Bank of Hyderabad from 2012 to 2017 until the said Bank was acquired by the State Bank of India. He enrolled with the Bar Council for the combined State of Andhra Pradesh on August 1985 and practised in various courts until joining in SBI Group in the year 1991.
- During his tenure in the SBI Group, he handled various complex and complicated matters involving the high value of amounts. He has vast and rich experience in matters relating to finance, property, banking, advances, recovery, labour and service laws, partnership issues, LLPs, Companies, IBC, DRT, securitization laws, Contracts, constitutional, real estate issues, procedural and compliance laws etc.
- He has been a visiting faculty in premier institutions like JNIDBI, SBI Staff College, SBH Staff Training Center, APCOB, Andhra Bank Staff College, APSFC, REC etc. and handled hundreds of sessions for their officers in various legal matters.
- He completed his post-graduation in Law with a specialization in Labour and Industrial Laws with a Gold Medal and 1st Rank to his credit. He was a University ranker in Bachelor of Law also.
