Professional Experience
- Mr. A V P Reddy is a Senior Partner at Juris Prime Law Services and joined the firm in May, 2020 after retirement from the State Bank of India (SBI). He practices in the areas of Banking, Recovery, Labor and Service laws, Corporate Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws (IBC), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) matters, Securitization laws, Contracts, Constitutional law, Real Estate matters and other similar areas.
- Before joining the practice, he worked in the erstwhile State Bank of Indore, the erstwhile State Bank of Hyderabad and the State Bank of India for 29 years. He was the head of the Department of Law in the erstwhile State Bank of Hyderabad from 2012 to 2017 until the said Bank was acquired by the State Bank of India. He enrolled with the Bar Council for the combined State of Andhra Pradesh on August 1985 and practised in various courts until joining in SBI Group in the year 1991.
- During his tenure in the SBI Group, he handled various complex and complicated matters involving the high value of amounts. He has vast and rich experience in matters relating to finance, property, banking, advances, recovery, labour and service laws, partnership issues, LLPs, Companies, IBC, DRT, securitization laws, Contracts, constitutional, real estate issues, procedural and compliance laws etc.
- He has been a visiting faculty in premier institutions like JNIDBI, SBI Staff College, SBH Staff Training Center, APCOB, Andhra Bank Staff College, APSFC, REC etc. and handled hundreds of sessions for their officers in various legal matters.
- He completed his post-graduation in Law with a specialization in Labour and Industrial Laws with a Gold Medal and 1st Rank to his credit. He was a University ranker in Bachelor of Law also.

Professional Experience
- Mr. V. Satya Venkata Rao has professional experience of more than 32 years in practice areas such as Banking and finance, Corporate and commercial laws, Foreign Investment, Real Estate, etc. He is a residential Partner of Juris Prime for its Vishakhapatnam Branch.
- During his professional journey, Mr. Rao served as Deputy Managing Director of the Small Industries Development Bank of India, as Executive Director of IFCI Limited and as a Law officer of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd.
- As a Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Rao has significantly contributed to the development and growth of the bank and closely handled various functions of banks such as disbursement of loans, monitoring credit quality and strategizing recovery of loans within the legal framework. He also led and supervised various verticals of banking such as audit, compliance, government programs, human resources, risk management, treasury, etc.
- While serving in IFCI Ltd and SIDBI Mr Rao was appointed as a Nominee Director in various companies involved in the business of real estate, venture capital, asset reconstruction, power generation, manufacturing, etc., due to his experience and knowledge Mr. Rao has deep insights of legal requirements, statutory compliances, corporate governance, etc.
- Mr. Rao is regularly invited to conduct lectures in various institutions both within and beyond the country due to his extensive experience in business and banking activities.
